As a Senior Bookkeeping Associate at DiLucci CPA Firm, you’ll be responsible for overseeing and delivering high-quality bookkeeping services to our clients while managing a team of virtual assistants (VAs) to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting. You’ll play a key role in maintaining our standard of excellence, directly interfacing with clients and supporting their success through dependable bookkeeping and financial organization.

In this role, you’ll manage a team of VAs while also owning client relationships and deliverables. You’ll be responsible for ensuring all bookkeeping is completed accurately, that clients are kept in the loop, and that our internal processes are followed. Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately complete and review monthly bookkeeping for a portfolio of clients

  • Manage a team of bookkeeping virtual assistants, assigning tasks, reviewing work, and ensuring timely delivery

  • Maintain clear, organized documentation of all financial activity and communications in our systems

  • Communicate directly with clients to gather documents, clarify transactions, and answer questions

  • Train and oversee VAs to maintain quality and consistency in bookkeeping services

  • Implement and maintain best practices in QuickBooks Online, ensuring clients’ books are audit- and tax-ready

  • Collaborate with the leadership team on process improvements and workflow optimization

  • Act as a reliable point of contact for both clients and team members in all bookkeeping matters

Results

  • All bookkeeping is completed accurately and delivered on time each month

  • Team of VAs is well-managed, accountable, and trained to perform to DiLucci CPA standards

  • All client communications are professional, timely, and proactive

  • QuickBooks Online accounts are maintained with minimal rework required by tax or accounting teams

  • Team pipeline, client progress, and deliverables are clear and visible in tracking systems

  • Client confidence is built and maintained through accurate books and great communication

  • Opportunities for additional services are identified and passed along to sales or tax teams as appropriate

Requirements

  • 2+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience, preferably in a professional services or corporate environment

  • Proficiency in QuickBooks Online

  • Demonstrated experience managing or leading a team

  • Excellent organizational and communication skills

  • Experience with client-facing interactions

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to deadlines

  • Self-motivated, accountable, and able to work independently in a remote environment

Salary

  •  $50,000–$75,000 per year (Full-time, based on experience and skill set)
